A swipe of red lipstick and an old pair of matching espadrilles spruce up a closet favorite; why don’t you do the same for the final wear of your favorite pieces this season?

A few purple things that have been currently appearing in my apartment/outfit rotation/or shopping cart. Apparently, I’m having an appreciation for all things purple recently.
Maybe this is my way to reconcile one half of my alma mater’s school colors (Go JMU Dukes!) in my own personal purple out.

Summer let’s not break up, you really don’t have to go anywhere. I’ll appreciate you for as long as we’re together. If you need any additional convincing arguments besides my words, consider this outfit combination:
1 Essential Chambray Shirt + 1 slightly hippie drop waist skirt + 2 Color Sandals + Modern Accessories = One Summer Girl through and through
[Note: I realize 1 + 1 + 2 + X doesn’t equal 1, but for the sake of this fashion equation it does]
*Excuse any technical issues I’ve been having with this post.

It may not be the healthiest pleasure, but for some reason there is nothing more rewarding that donning an all-white outfit after a day in the sun. You can’t help but love when your results actually show, right?

I think my body has yet to adjust to these warmer temperatures, but I’m trying to catch up with some wardrobe modifications. I might have mentioned before how into printed pants I am for this S/S, and these high waisted drawstring pants with racing strips really satisfied my need to be a little bit hippie and stay cool when I could be melting outside. Also really happy to own these new sandals, have really been craving some lace-ups in whatever form I can get.
Style Tip: If you’re new to the printed pant trend, start with something simple, or in a more traditional color, to ease your way into full fledged obsession.
Hope your week is off to a great start!

Who else is going crazy over these spreads? All I want is tribal prints, embroidery, and turquoise jewelry. When a lookbook inspires more than just a viewer to buy their clothes, you know that something special is being shared. Can’t wait to channel my own bohemian looks …
